GRRR Adoption Process & Application to Adopt

Choose a dog or cat from our adoptable pets and complete the application below. Once approved, we will contact you to schedule a meet-and-greet and home visit. While a fenced yard is required, exceptions are sometimes granted for HOA communities.
Approved applicants must participate in a short trial stay of 7 days to ensure a good fit for both the animal and your household.
After the trial period, both you and GRRR will decide if the adoption should move forward.
Adoptions are finalized in your home. You will receive an adoption contract and all medical records, including spay/neuter, rabies, and microchip information.
Adoption fees: Dogs $345 | Bonded dog pair $500 | Cats $95. Fees are due at finalization and are non-refundable. All animals are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
GRRR only adopts to smoke-free homes within a 75 mile radius of Savannah, Georgia.

GRRR works with small breed dogs under 30 lbs. Why is it important that a small dog not be left outside unsupervised?

GRRR insures that our rescues go to the home that best fits the dogs or cats specific needs. Due to this, we take longer with our adoptions than most rescues as we want to insure that your home will be the forever home. With that said, please tell us why we should choose your home?
